bosch SHE45m02UC/50 not draining
Brand:
Bosch
Age:
1-5 years
My bosch d/w has stopped draining. It started as an intermiitant problem but now it does not drain at all. I inspected the drain pump impeller moves freely, the drain hoses are clear and raised up above the plumbing drain and the check valve is clear. I also noted that the last few times I tried it the timer display was much longer than normal when the unit was first turned on. When it is time in the cycle for the unit to drain, there is a relay clicking sound from the control panel but no pump noises. Then it starts pumping water around like a rinse cycle until the timer counts down and shuts off. I inspected the control board and did not find anything unusual. Any ideas?

Hi,
Power to the pump motor when it should be draining but is not is a pump issue.
No power to the drain pump when it should be draining is a control or wire between the control and pump issue.

thanks for the responce jeff. I have not verified if there is power to the pump, only that the impeller spins freely. I dont have a wiring schematic or test proceedure for this model. Are there test proceedures that will allow me to get the controll board to call for draining so I can test the pump voltage? I assume that it is a 110 vac pump motor. I would like to put the unit in drain mode and test for voltage at the board output, but I dont know which terminals and how to make the unit drain without running through a full cycle.

I dont have a wiring schematic
Normally folded up under the unit at the front.
or test proceedure for this model
All d/w's will fill, swoosh the water around and then....drain. Just have the meter leads in the wire connector going to the drain pump.
These may help...
