**I'm now having the problem with the drain running endlessly*
Does this make a low humming noise when the On/Off button is pushed On and continues indefintely and the dishwasher never starts?

Bosch dishwasher not draining
Hi All
I have a Bosch SGS 46E12 Exxcel Dishwasher that is driving me mad. I am determined now to fix this
myself!!
The dishwasher was standing for a year, so when I finally plugged it in and turned it on, it just
stuck on 40 mins and never dropped, with water always being pumped in and straight out.
I did some reading up and realised the anti-flood switch had been activated, so I took the left panel
off and saw there was water in the base which had pushed the float up.I cleaned all of that up got the
float to go down on it's own, deactivating the micro swicth, turned it all on and hoped! The timer
remained on 40 mins and water was being pumped in, after a while water leaves through the drain pipe.
When I open the door, the bottom is full of water. The base however is not wet so the anti-flood
switch is not being activated and I assume that this means there is no leak.
I thought that perhaps the pump was broken, I then found this thread and read through it. I have tried
the paper towel trick but to no avail. The pipes dont seem to be blocked because if I blow through the
drain pipe I can feel the air reaching the small hole where the white propeller is. The small white
propeller is turning I found this out by running the dishwasher with the door open. There is
turbalance in the water when the small white cover is removed but the water is not going through the
hole and out the pipe, I thought perhaps this is because the cover is not on, but when the cover is on
there is no difference. However once the bottom is full water is being pumped in, and then out again,
just the water in the bottom is not going anywhere and the cycle time never goes down.
I read on another thread that it may be some salt has got into the pump and by removing the pump and
'cleaning' it you may fix the issue.
The problem is that while I have managed to remove the top and both side panels. I have no idea how
one gets into the base to actually get to this pump (the one with small white propeller)
So my questions are, has anybody had this issue before and does anybody know how to seperate the base
to be able to get to this pump?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and a beer will be owed to all!!!
Thanks in advance
Bryan

SKT5002 wiring diagram
Hi,ffice
ffice" />>>
>>
I have a problem with my SKT5002 in that the impeller disintegrated, shedding blades and bits of plastic. These managed got into the pipe work of my dishwasher.>>
>>
I have now been able to remove the offending item and all the bits. The problem is that I had pretty much pull my dishwasher apart to do it. I made a quick sketch of all the electrical connections as I went along but have since got this wet and am not unable to read my notes.>>
>>
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the SKT5002 or know where I can get one. I am mainly interested in the connections on the bottom of the dishwasher around the heating element, main motor, thermal switch etc... >>
>>
Any help would be appreciated.>>
