    Default E:24 - Won't drain

    Model Number: SHE6AF02UC/05
    Brand: Bosch
    Age: 1-5 years

OK, I have a almost new Bosch dishwasher that won't drain. I've checked the lines for blockage and can't find anything all the way to the big pipe going into the main house drain. It's been working in the past so I know the line works. Anything other than potential line blockages I need to check?

if you can hear the drain pump turning it may be clogged--the bosch has a round micro-filter that has to be turned and locked in to avoid clogging the drain/wash pump. if it was run without properly being locked, it won't take much to stop it up---i think i saw 3 coffee beans stop one completely--check the filter in the bottom of the unit--the round one you unscrew--you may need to use a wet vac to empty the machine--look down in the hole the filter came out of and check for any debris, use a long screw driver to pry anything that maybe stuck out of the inlet holes and vacuum out--also check that filter for clogs--and make sure it gets installed properly------cheers

Well, I went in initially and vacuumed everything out and cleared the lines. I didn't find any debris blocking but it cleared the error and everything started working again. Then last week it started acting up again. Again, I went in and cleared everything from the filter to the main drain line and again didn't find any debris but this time I can't get the E:24 to clear. The pump sounds like it's working and in fact when I run the quick rinse cycle and watch the drain line I can see some of the water drain. But at the end of the cycle, it doesn't finish draining everything out and throws the error. Any thoughts?

    Hi,
    SHE6AF02UC/05
Can get past that 6, appears too new for most of my info....I have sheets on the 5 ( SHE5 ) versions.

    E:24
E:24 No drain flow possible Drain pump is running but unable to remove the water, drain system blockage. Check for blockage of drain hose

    E:25 says jammed drain pump.

*If* the drain is 100% ok, can't think of much besides trying a new drain pump.

I'm having the E:25 error on my dishwasher. The problem is intermittent. I've pulled the drain line apart, removed and inspected the drain pump without finding an issue. Everything is seated properly, the filter looks fine. The error usually doesn't occur during a quick wash. When it does stop draining, I can just start a quick wash and cancel and it will drain normally. I believe the manual says it could be the pump or power module, but I'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks
