I had the bad soldier joint on the PCB, and repaired it. Then machine ran fine for about 2 years. Now I have the "counts down to 1 min then runs forever" problem. I've checked the amperage and it runs at 10.7 amps during wash cycle, so this tells me everything(Soldier Joint, Flow switch, High Limit and heater) in the heating system is working. Also the water gets very hot. When I run a test, it displays "0" and continues to circulate until I cancel it. Just to make sure it wasn't the flow switch I tested it with my meter and it closes as soon as the water starts to circulate. The one thing I do notice is that while in test mode the unit doesn't draw 10+ amps like it does in the normal wash mode. So I assume it isn't calling for heat while in test.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steve |
