I bought one of the ubiqitous Electrolux/Kenmore/Frigidaire Gallery front load washers (model #417.39012891, heres a similar one: http://www.hhgregg.com/ProductDetail...tID=17057#page ). I liked the functionality, but the door switch broke. Then the drum broke. And even though the drum was under "warranty", the labor to replace it is not and they wanted $300 to swap it (even though I had already take it apart to diagnose it). Its not worth that for a repair on an 8yo machine.

However I was amazed how nice the remaining components inside looked and I hate for it to wind up in the landfill. I have the whole thing taken carefully apart (since I thought I was fixing it), if anyone wants a part (all were working last month) email me here or at at cnce1-wash@yahoo.com. I specifically have the motor, pump, door, motor control board and front panel/timer (still with "remove before use" film on it). Photos are available.
