Default Electric tankless whole house water heaters question

Thinking about changing over to an electric tankless whole house water heater. The choices are many and would like to get some feed back on the best one. I have a 1600 sq. ft., 3 bed 2 bath house located in middle Georgia. I have all necessary requirements for one.

Thanks in advance.

Perry

Hi Perry,

I don't own a tankless water heater myself, but I would stay with a well known brand and Rheem is the best in the business.

Here's the link to it:

Well, I found out it requires '2' 220 60 amp breakers, I don't have any room left for '2'. I noticed sears has the most efficient electric water heater so I guess I'll go for it.

Ok, sounds good Perry.

Yea most 220 volt breakers require 2 together.

Nope, The tank less I was looking at requires 2 separate 220 60 amp breakers, I have 1, 220 40 amp for my air compressor and 1, 220 40 amp for my welder. The tank less water heater operates on 120 amps.

That would be 120 amps, does not make sense.
Example 220 V. 60 Amp double pole breaker makes more sense (two 30 amp 120 is what it is in actuality).
