Default Bosch wta3510 no longer drying

When I first bought the dryer, my building was just getting painted. The chuckleheads painted the dryer vent shut. Before I noticed their gaff, the dryer stopped heating. The drum would turn but the air was cold. I called for a repair as it was still under warranty. The repair folks explained that the only thing wrong was that a protection circuit had tripped a breaker. They reset it and we charged the painter for the service call.

It was working fine until it started throwing the breaker so frequently that it no longer runs a full cycle before the heating element circuit is disabled by the breaker. It's now not a very useful dryer, as you can imagine.

Is this a common problem with Bosch dryers? Can I buy some part and replace it myself?

Default What I suspect I need is the high-limit thermostat

Perhaps the limit where it trips has fallen from repeated trips?

I wish I could help you, but I've never worked on Bosch before.

Hopefully soon we will get a Bosch Tech. to help us out here.

Jake
