    Default Dryer plug wiring question

I would like to add a second electric dryer to my laundry room. Is it safe to add another dryer outlet by just coming off the existing one with a new one? Do I need to upgrade the breaker or wiring on the existing one to handle the increased load? They will both be running at the same time.

    Thanks,
    Stacy

    Hi Stacy,

Thats a very good question, but I know the answer to it.

But I assume you will need a separate 240 volt breaker to it, like the one you already have.

You would need to contact a licensed electrician in your area to find out though.
