Default Roper Dryer will not stop in Auto Sense

I have a Roper dyer model number EL6050VW0. It will not stop when drying in the Auto Sense mode.

Any tips?

Hi,

First check the dryer vent exhaust to make sure its blowing out very strong where it exits your home.

If that checks ok, then its possibly a timer/resister issue:

If you get NO HEAT---this could be a thermal fuse or defective heating element.

There are other components that can cause the *automatic cycle* to NOT advance (assuming a NO HEAT condition).
