Samsung Thermistor error?
I have a Samsung dv4015j dryer (part of the Big Wash set). When I start it, it works for less than a minute, then gives an E3 error. Belt was replaced previously. I phoned Samsung in the USA and was told it could be three things:
1 - overload (too much laundry)
2 - vent blocked
3 - thermistor error
#1 and #2 have been ruled out so it is #3. The operating manual that I have gives no schematic. I'll looking to repair it myself. Any ideas? Samsung said that I could look for open source manuals online but I have not found anything. Anyone know if this is an easy repair?
I was told by someone at another site that:"The thermistor is located down at the front on the blower housing. 2 similar looking plastic pieces with 2 wires coming from it. The one on the left is the thermistor. Very very inexpensive to replace."
Not sure where the blower housing is and what a thermistor looks like. Is it where the heating coils are?

The thermistor should be mounted on the blower wheel housing.
I couldn't locate the repair manual for your model exactly, but I did locate one here thats close to your model.

Thank you. I will have to try that when I am over at my parent's place. I guess I should measure the resistance to see if the thermistor is actually out (blown or shorted??)

Unplug your dryer first!
To test the thermistor you use a ohm meter and go by this chart:
Here's the thermistor chart, it works on ambient temperature:
