Default Roper Dryer Starts only runs five seconds

I have a Roper dryer and when you push the start button, it starts normally and after about 5 seconds you can hear it sound like it powers down and quits. You push the start button and it starts, runs five seconds and quits again. What could be causing this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

This sounds like you have a bad motor.

Here is a new one for your model, in case you decide to order it:
