Default Inglis Electric Dryer IS8200 - New, no heat

Can anyone give me some advice before I call Whirlpool about my dryer...

I took delivery of it yesterday..it's brand spanking new and there's no heat coming from it.

The drum turns, but no heat, and the timer also doesn't work -- I let it run for over an hour and it was only set for 60 minutes. I checked the fuses in my house and all are working fine and all of them are new.

Any suggestions?

If your fuses/breakers are on and not tripped, it should heat, you will probably need to contact Whirlpool in Canada to have them come out.

Thanks. I tested them again this morning [fuses/breakers] and no issues with them. Whirlpool is sending a technician tomorrow since I followed their instructions and still no heat and the timer doesn't work.

I had this problem twice with my Whirlpool. One time it was the thermal fuse. Another time it was the thermostat. Both were cheap parts and fairly easy to replace.
