This is the BEST DIY Repair Site on the Internet.... I have come here when my appliances hiccup and I have not been disappointed yet !<br />
<br />
Please see attached pics. This is a 22+ year old faucet set that leaks so I would like to rebuild it BUT I can NOT disassemble it.<br />
<br />
I have used channel pliers ( with a protective rag ) on collar shown in diagram.... I can only get it to move about 1/4"... I am afraid to use the pliers on the plastic parts that stick up above the collar.<br />
<br />
Any help would be appreciated.<br />
