Just recently moved and found out the Frigidaire side by side ref leaks on the bottom right side.
It only leaks once we use the water or ice dispenser. Checked water hose from wall and all was well. Found source of water was from the part where the small water tubing went up back of ref. My question is, how do I open the back side of ref to change out the water tubing? I tried looking for the opening but shows nothing. Friend I asked before said I may need to open from front (inside ref). Is this right? Is there a website that shows exactly how to go about this? Thanks! ![]() |

What did you mean by FF or FZ section? Apologize for my ignorance in this.
The model number for the Frigidaire is MRS22WNGW7 Its a side by side with water and ice dispenser on the freezer side. I looked again into the back portion just now and saw the following: Water main pipe attached into the ref valve. From valve, it splits into 2 small white tubing. One tubing went to the freezer side and one went inside ref side. Another tubing came back down and went forward towards the ref side. And when i use water or ice, the water leaks from where the white tubing went into and out from ref side. Hope the above explanation was clear. Looking forward to fixing my problem. |

G'day,
FF - Fresh Food section FZ - Freezer section Quote:
Check for cracked split tubing into and out of the water reservour tank....or a cracked split water reservoir tank itself. The water tank is behind the lower crispers in the FF section. These lines really just run through the cabinet walls and not into them. jeff.
