Exclamation Frigidaire Ultra Quiet 1....Water not draining after wash??

Hey guys,

I just bought a house and am having issues with the dishwasher. After the wash cycle is complete the water is not draining and just sits at the bottom of the washer. I tried to take out the pump but am unsure how to remove it after taking out what looks to be like some kind of harness which there were 3 hex screws holding it down. I was wondering if someone could guide me as to how I would go about troubleshooting this issue.

On a side note I just installed a garbage disposal and coincedentally enough this is when my issues started occuring. The dishwasher was working for the past week then all of a sudden water is not being pumped out at the end of the cycle. Could it just be my pump that has gone bad? Any instructions or tips would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Jason

Nope, very easy fix, you forgot to knock out the plug in your garbage disposal.

Don't worry, its a common mistake when installing a new garbage disposal.

Here's a link with a photo that shows you:
