Smile Low Freezer Temp and Water leak

I have a model FRT21TSG. About 7 years old. The freezer is hovering around 25 degrees. Needs to be around 0 if I am not mistaken.

Also, water accumulates under the crisper drawers in the refrig.

Not quite sure what to do. Don't quite see how water can get inside the refigerator if the drain tube is blocked.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you re-check the model number, should be a little longer than that. Usually found on a label inside the refrigerator compartment.

Default Model Number

Unfortunately that is the model number as it appears on the sticker inside the refrigerator. Hmmmm? I got it at sears, i wonder if they mess with the numbers for some reason. Anyway, regardless of that, do you have any idea about possible causes for the water accumulation under the crisper bins and the high temp in the freezer. Seems like they must be related.

I keep reading that the water accumulation is probably due to a clogged drain tube. I took it apart and noticed that the pan that the water drips into (or should drip into) is dry. But while I was looking at it, one drop came out of the tube into the pan. I wonder if under normal circumstances, the pan would always have atleast some water in it. If so, mine isn't draining properly. But if it is normal for the pan to be dry between defrost cylcles then maybe mine is normal.

Also would a drainage problem effect the temperature, in other words is it reasonable to assume that the two symptoms are related?

Thanks for your help.

Managed to find something similar, Friggidaire top freezer. Remove the back panel of the freezer and check the defrost drain. If this is blocked, water will run down through the vents and end up in the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. Also check your evaporator (in the back of the freezer) for an even frost pattern whlie you're in there. May all be one issue, may be two.
