Default Frigidaire front loader wont advance

Hi everyone, I have a LTF2140ES0 front load washer. For the past few months its been giving me troubles intermitently. It will fill with water and and usually tumble for twenty thirty seconds or so and then stop. Can still hear the clicking but nothing more out of the unit.

Cancelling the normal wash and selecting rinse and spin or drain and spin is the only way im getting my clothes washed.

I replaced the control board on it and that hasnt helped the problems.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Which control board did you replace? The one in your control console or the motor control board that sits inside your washer on the bottom base?

Take the lower front access panel off, you should see a service sheet that will tell you what to test.

Thank you for the reply.

I found the bulliten it shows resistances for the motors and solenoids. I will check those out. The board I replaced was at the top in the control consle.

Ok ... Havent had time to check resistances of the components yet, but I did bring up the last fault code which is E52, Bad tachometer generator signal.... On the schematic that looks like thats built into the motor control board.

any thoughts? thanks...

Yea, it definitely sounds like your motor control board, here's the one for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 134743500

If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund.

Well I finally got around to replacing that board... Its beens a week and no problems have come up with the new one... The aluminum heat sink had been rubbing against the washer / drum when on the spin cycle... Im guessing thats what did it in ... Lousy design on the part of frigidaire id say.

Thanks for the help!!
