Frigidaire Front Load - New Speed Control has Different Connectors
I have an 8 years old Frigidaire Gallerie Front Loading Washing Machine. The motor does not spin or agitate during the Regular cycle, but it is fine during other cycles. From what I found, it could be the speed control module.
I bought the module today. My original part is 131770700, but the replacement part I was given is 134149220. According to everything I see online, it is the proper replacement part. The connectors are completely different. The original part has a 4 and a 9 connection connectors. The new part has two connectors, one with 6 and one with 10 connections.
How do I make this fit? Is there a diagram available to remap the connections using new connectors, or simply an adapter available?
Thank!
Al

Model information / Made mistake.
Hi Jake,
The model number is FWT645RHS1.
I think I made a big mistake. I looked at a parts diagram to get the part number, but now that I'm having a better look at the part it is number 131789600. So I'm guessing that part number 131770700 is for a different or newer model.
I don't know how successful that'll be, but I'll try returning the part tomorrow.
Thanks for your quick response.
Al
