Default Funny smelling ice

Hello I have a Frigidaire side by side model # FRS26KR4J. I started to notice that the ice the freezer makes has a musky oder and taste to it. I do not beleive my model has a built in filter. I do have a whole house water filter which i changed the filter after noticing the oder / taste. I even got ride of the old ice and cleaned the ice bucket and the whole freezer itself. After a few days the oder /taste is starting to come back. The only thing I can think of is that its the water supply line going into the fridge. Its was replaced 1.5 years ago replacing the old copper one with plastic. Can anyone suggest what i can do to solve this problem or have any ideas?

When I run into this problem, I usually find the water supply line has a rubber interior and causing odor. They have a plastic looking vinyl exterior. If your line is all plastic it shouldn't cause an odor.
