Unhappy Frigidaire front load washer sounds sick

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We were washing towels when we heard our 4 month old Frigidaire Gallery front load washer (model #GLTF2940ES0) start making a terrible sound. I stopped it immediately. Now when I press start you can here the door lock and then there is a grating/slipping sound. I have tried it on drain/spin and on rinse/spin settings with the same result. The drum spins freely with no sound when I manually turn it. Could it be something caught in the pump? If so, is that accessed through the front panel of the washer or the rear?

Unfortunately I can’t, I live outside the US and the warranty is not covered unless I ship it back.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your help Mad Mac.
It's fixed, believe it or not somehow a bra under wire made it's way through to the pump.
Bet you don't hear that one too often :-)

Exclamation underwire bras in pump

Underwire bras, poly-filled pillows and comforters are not permissable in washers. Hand wash your bras and take the others to the Laudromat. The poly fill in other items can wrap arround the pump like fishline and disable the pump. the wires come out of the bras and go right through the holes in the basket. They can be trapped in the outer tub requiring a very expensive disassembly to get it out or be trap in the pump or even perforate a hose. NO undwwerwire bras is machine washable -EVER!
