Default Frigidaire Door Leak

Model PLD2850RDC2 is leaking water. After reading forums, I removed the door panel and watched a wash cycle. Water is leaking out at the bottom of the door in the middle. The middle 1/3 of the Lower Door gasket appears to have about 3/16" of material missing along its bottom edge. This allows water to pass by. Is this by design or is this a defective gasket. The parts manual does not show a complete picture of the gasket (Part #49).
If it is defective how do you access it for replacement. It did not appear obvious when I had the door panel off.

Thanks for you help

It looks like its missing by design.

Did your dishwasher just start leaking from there out of the blue?

Try to run a quick wash load without dishes or detergent in it, and see if it still leaks. If it leaks open the door and see if there's alot of suds in the water.
