Its sounds like your dishwasher isn't getting any power at all if no lights even come on, I would first check your breaker to the dishwasher, then test the voltage with a volt meter were your main power comes into it from the junction box under the front of your dishwasher below your tub.

If that reads 120 volts, then its likely your door latch is broken, thus not making any connection to tell the dishwasher to come on.

already did that there is power.is there a way to test the latch to make sure?

Yes, you would use a ohm meter to check for continuity of your door latch switch/switches with the power off to your dishwasher and wires removed from the switch/switches.

Your ohm meter should read 0 ohms across the switch/switches.

okay on the switch there is 4 prongs i tested the across where the to blk(power) wires attach and there is conitnuity when the door is closed .and tested when the door is open and it reads the the circuit is open.so im thinking the switch is good. what do you think?

Ok, it sounds good, did you also check for 120 volts at the door switch/switches?

If no lights come on at all with 120 volts to the door switches, I would have to believe your control board is bad.
