Default Frigadaire FRS26HF6BW0

Dear Jake,
I have reviewed several helps to others and did not see this model mentioned. The unit leaks water at both front corners, the refrig side less than the freezer side. Water amount is approximately a cup full.
Please instruct me on the discovery of plugged drain tubes or loose/cracked water supplies. Unit cycles approximately correctly and ice/water dispenser appear to be ok.
Thank you,
Craig

Hi Craig,

First you want to remove your food from the freezer, then take the shelves out, then remove your lower back panel(evaporator cover) inside your freezer, its #10A here:

Then you will see your drain trough under your evaporator coils, lots of times I find a block of ice in the trough and a sheet of ice on bottom of the freezer, thus water leaking onto your floor from the front.

Just clear all the ice with a hair dryer and hot water, and get something to run down your drain hole/drain line.

I use a evaporator cooler spider snake:

They are used basically in Arizona to clean out the water pump tubes that run to the cooler pads.

I don't know if they would sell them in your area, but if you go to your local hardware store, they should have something similar.

Jake

Dear Jake,
Thanks for the Help, drain is verified as not iced now and the drain tube has been chased. I also found remnant ice from the ice maker behind the storage box and above the light bulb illumination. Took a small hand and some choice words, but that block of ice has also been removed. Now we wait and see is all is fine.
Thank you,
Craig
