Default bubbling noises

I have a fairly new frigidaire that we put in the garage when we moved last year.

It has recently started doing duty holding several small kegs and the door gets opened and closed several times in a night since there aren't taps going through the doors yet.

I recently noticed that after i close the door i'll start to hear a bubbling sound coming from under the fridge. I haven't done much investigating yet, but i was wondering if anyone had an idea what might be going on and if i should worry?

The noise seems to last a few seconds and isn't constant. The fridge has been running fine for a while and it seems to be cooling well.

thanks for the help.

That's the suction effect when door is closed, coming from the drain line in the drip pan underneath. There is almost always a little water in pan, which makes that noise. Also, make sure the garage doesn't get 100*+, the high ambient room temp. will cause any cooling product to run hard and long eventually causing failure. Try to vent high temps from appliance locations. Maybe drill thru door and put tap on it- so no need open.

I can try to keep it below 100 in there, but it's obviously tough since it's a garage. It should stay below that, but the humidity here is pretty bad.

Just to make sure i understand, taps through the doors will mean it wont have to work as hard since i wont be letting the cold air out when i open the doors, right? This will lengthen the life of the unit since the compressor wont have to work as hard, right?

(just making sure i know what case to make with the wife when i purchase the faucets).

Thanks again

If it is your home, maybe you can install some kind of exhaust vent fan or some such to limit air temp or more insulation to exterior walls and roof. if the door is not open the temp stays stable and will cycle on less = less electricity. Try to get cold or cool kegs when changing- don't put them in warm- makes fridge work harder. No case if she drinks also- easy access. Steins in the freezer? Wipe any spillage, especially pay attention to door gasket- might rip if too sticky. Go cheap, can't you remove plastic tap end and shove thru hole in door to dispense? I'm not a drinker. Granted it's not high end but should work? (make hole only as big as necessary). If only half of the others here had this "problem".
