Question Auger motor installation

I have a new ice dispenser auger motor to install and before I dive into this blindly; has anyone ever replaced one of these before? If so I would aprreciate your assistance with this.
From what I can see it doesn't look that difficult but I have encountered issues like this before and it's not what you can see but what you can't see that creates problems.

the auger is for a Gallery MN-FRS26ZGEW3
auger motor number 53044625924 (Frigidaire OEM)

Thanks again.

Hi,

Where did you buy the auger motor from? Is it just the auger motor separately or the new Auger motor frame assembly? as shown here:
Manufacturer part number 5304462594 is RepairClinic item number 1261523
5304462594

Default Part number correction

I purchase item 18 actual Frigidaire OEM part # is 241676202 it is refered to as an AUGER MOTOR for the ice dispenser. Sorry about the mis-information but the number I gave you earlier was what was on the packing list.d it from the appliance zone.

Ok, then they sold you a pre-upgraded part, so either you can try to install it or send it back and get the upgraded part I link to above.

If you want to just try to install the auger motor only, all you do is remove the track assembly #49 then auger housing #20 then it will come out, just remove the screws that support both of those parts and remove the electrical connector to the auger housing.

Yes, yours uses the same auger motor, but I don't see the complete assembly for your model.

Manufacturer part number 241676202 is RepairClinic item number 1196610
