Frigidaire front load washer beeping
I have a Frigidaire front load washer.
Model # LTF2140ES3
Serial # XC62302363
(Appears to have been mandufactured in May 2006).
The other night it began to beep and one of the lights (Start light, I think) would light up. Machine would beep and light would light just once, every few minutes, and not at any regular interval.
Unplugged it overnight and then plugged it back in.
After a few minutes, all of the lights came on--like it used to do when i had set the cycle type, water temp, etc., and it was waiting for me to hit Start. But after a few minutes, all the lights went out and the machine would not respond at all. (For example, no beeps or lights when you turn the cycle type selector knob or water temp selector knob.)
I have not tried to run a load since this started happening, as I am afraid of the machine starting but then stopping with my wet clothes locked inside.
I have unplugged the machine again and plugged it back in, and the same thing as described above happens again.
I have a matching Frigidaire dryer which I bought at the same time.
About a year or so ago, it began to beep and stopped working.
I had to replace the control panel on it.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
