Its your compressor thats bad then for sure, since your out of your 5 yr. warranty, it would cost more to fix than its worth, EST. $400-$600 for a new compressor installed.

Jake -
One more question, why would a bad compressor cause the icemaker to not function properly? It made the ice cubes but couldn't push the cubes out of the freezing tray.
