Default Frigidaire D/W Won't Drain & Makes Crunchy Noise

I heard a crunchy noise coming from the D/W when it was running through a cycle. It sounded like glass. I opened the D/W and didn't see anything. When the cycle completed, there was water left at the bottom. We got all the water out, opened everything up that we could at the bottom of the D/W and cleaned everything out. We tried another cycle and it did the same thing.
Any ideas on what to try next?

We checked everything and figured out the noise is coming from the drain pump #60. We found nothing foreign in the valves. Is there anything else we can check on this drain pump or should we just order a new one? Could it have anything to do with the ball bearings inside?

Okay, we changed the drain pump kit. The noise went away but after we ran a Rinse Only cycle and waited until it was over, the water didn't drain and is still at the bottom. What next?

Prime the pump ( water on both sides of the pump ). Open the drain port end ( at the sink - house plumbing ) and pour some water in. Once the pump is primed and starts draining it is usually ok.

We have replaced the pump/drain motor. We primed it as suggested but it still does not drain. I am wondering if it may have something to do with the main motor or motor casing? There is what looks to be some sort of rotating casing. I'm assuming it is supposed to be in different positions depending on the cycle. When I take this motor out and manually rotate the casing it looks like it jumps off it's track fairly easily. Could a problem with part block water during the drain cycle? If so, does an entirely new motor need to be ordered or can this particular part be replaced/repaired?
