Default dishwasher grinding wont drain

I am having the same problem as kimber350. When I start a cycle, and during the cycle I get a grinding sound, at the end of the cycle there is still water up to the door level, in the tub.

Hi,

Yes, it sounds like your drain pump has either a foreign object in it, or the impeller bearing is bad.

I found it easier to get access to the drain pump by pulling the dishwasher at least half way out.

Here's the drain pump for your model, in case you need to order it:
Manufacturer's Number: 154640201

Either use a WET/DRY VAC or take the drain hose off the pump and get a container to catch the water in.
