dishwasher grinding wont drain
I am having the same problem as kimber350. When I start a cycle, and during the cycle I get a grinding sound, at the end of the cycle there is still water up to the door level, in the tub.

Hi,
Yes, it sounds like your drain pump has either a foreign object in it, or the impeller bearing is bad. I found it easier to get access to the drain pump by pulling the dishwasher at least half way out. Either use a WET/DRY VAC or take the drain hose off the pump and get a container to catch the water in.
