Popping the cover off was easy. I did notice that the wire arm was raised this morning. I asked my wife twice if she did it and she swears she didn't and still no ice.

So to recap, The solenoid was check and found to be okay. Good water pressure going in and coming out the dispenser. Line is not frozen

Is their anything I can do to the icemaker? I recall the OP saying he turned the gear? Warning on box says not to even thoughs I tried, it won't turn. Didn't use much force

I'm wondering if any part of the icemake is frozen and maybe I should rake the hairdryer to the whole thing. Gear won't turn at all manually but she has put water inthe tray and it will produce and pop the ice out

I took the module off and the motor off after and the gears look fine and do not see anything broken, just not getting any water. Bad motor?

Are the ejector tines suppose to be in a certain position when reinstalling the module?

Getting to a point where I may replace the entire setup solenoid and all.

Yes, sounds like your ice maker is bad.

Whats the model# of your refrigerator?

I did see one other thing happen here this afternoon. After I got it out and then realizing it only takes a minute after you know what your doing, I notice the whole thing was operating like it was faking it (without water).

Gear was moving the tines wre going around in circles like it was going to push out ice thatwasn't their and the arm going up and down along with it--but no water.

Still want to go with the ice maker? Thanks

I need the model# please of your refrigerator.

First check your fill tube where it comes into the back inside the freezer, to make sure thats not clogged with ice and blocking the water flow into the ice maker.

If no clog, then you would need to manually cycle the ice maker by turning that gear in the front of it in the direction on the arrow, just turn it a little bit till you start seeing it move on its on.

Then give it a couple minutes to finish the cycle and see if water comes in, if not then pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then take off the electrical connector from the water inlet valve and put your volt meter probes into that electrical connector and re-cycle the ice maker, and watch the volt meter while its cycling, it should jump to 120 volts towards the end of the cycle.

If you don't have a volt meter, use a cheater cord as Jeff describes here:
test a icemaker fill valve, how to test an icemaker fill valve

You can get a cheater test cord here:
Test Cord - 110 Volt With Alligator Clips

If you see 120 volts then the ice maker is fine, its the water inlet valve thats bad.

The link above is the icemaker I have. I took that solenoid valve in and they said it was working. I watched the icemake cycle a couple times yesterday. Few days ago i had the entire waterline out from behind the fridge and no clog

The dumb part here is it quit on the same day that our water pipes froze and burst and did not have water for 24hours. I can't seem to connect the two scenarios together

    Thanks,

Then it has to be your ice maker thats the cause, yes it is ironic about the water pipes issue you had coinciding with this.

Here's the ice maker for your model you can order here:
