Default Frigidaire Drain Pump Part #137108100

    Model Number: FTF2140FE1
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: Less than 1 year

I just replaced the drain pump part # 137108100. The washer now works fine. But, I noticed that I forgot to clip one the semi-transparent cover that goes over the top of the pump. I'm not sure if it's even necessary. Does anyone know?? Do I need to take the back off and put it on or I am I good to go?? Any help would be appreciated!!

No its not necessary, but its good to have on just to protect the motor from water drips that may occur from time to time.
