    Default front loader not running

    Model Number: ATF6000FS2
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: 1-5 years

I know that this has been covered in other threads but I want to be sure that there is not something model specific.

The washer will open the water valve for just a couple of secend and then shut off, If I put it to spin only the pump will run for a couple seconds and then stops the drum will not spin. If I do a error check it comes up with E5E which takes me to test 11. The wires all look good and it says to replace the control board. I also read and have called a couple repairmen and they come up that the door latch could be bad. Anything I can do to test these 2 things without just throwing parts at it?

    Thanks
