Thanks for trying to help me!
Does the washer need to have clothes in it to wash?
I hate to second guess, but I read other threads talking about speed control boards. how do I check to make sure that is fine?

Yes, sounds like the spin control board is bad.

Here's the spin control board for your model you can order here:
    Part#134149220 is RepairClinic Item #1206430
    Spin control board assembly

Come with a 365 day full refund, less shipping.

Yes, you get to it from the back of your washer. Just pull the washer out from the wall, remove the back access panel and you will see it on the left side, its plug and play, no soldering.

Has two screws that mounts it to your washer base.

Look at the board now and see if that fuse on it is blown, or any burnt spots on the board.

    Unplug your washer first.

I think that is the problem. i pulled it out and a black disc w/2 wires was laying on the bottom - I don't know if that is the fuse. Looks like it was originally just below the ten pin plug in.
    I will order the board.
    Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
