Yes, these models have had many issues, Bearings bad, tub seal leaking, motor controller board going bad, etc.

It sounds like your bearings are bad, it would be very expensive to have it fixed.

I believe you are correct because they told me the parts is over 200 dollar so they need PO# and order parts for me but it is already two weeks... and also I heard from some people whom has sae brand name washer they all have same problem so is this call "design" issue??

Some do, and some don't, but a good percentage do have this issue.

good I sense this issue before I bought extend warranty, almost every appliance and electronic stuff I bought ext warranty now as more than 20 years experience repair electronic stuff I don't believe the quality of components now

Yes, thats why I tell all my customers if they are going to buy a new electronically/computer controlled appliance, to always get the extended warranty for 3 or 5 yrs.

We also have a same/similar model. Roaring Bearing.
Are they worth fixing? $200 for bearings seams steep. What can I expect for labor rate and time to repair? I saw a posting of 2 SKF bearing numbers that are no where near $100 each at Motion Industries. But if I can expect a bad tub seal as soon as I get the bearings fixed, and then a control board when the tub seal repair check clears.... DO I bother. It smells like mildew 10 months a year as it is.

If not, what front load, front control unit is holding up. I built cabinets around these washer/dryer units as the laundry room gets more guest entry traffic than the front door. We can't close the cabinet doors because we have to keep the washer door open (in the middle of the traffic path) to keep the mildew smell to a minimum.

If its over 5 yrs. old, it may be better to invest in a new front loader.
You can always still fix your old washer if you have the time and patience.
But you are correct in saying that other parts like the control board can still go out as well.
