Default What else needs to be checked

I have a 5 yr old Frigidaire DW, model# GLDB653AB0. The dishwasher was stopping in the 2nd wash cycle (6:00 position) and the heater did not turn off.

I replaced the timer assembly and the high temperature limiting switch. Now the DW will run when I do not have any of the high temperature settings on. It stops at the same place as before when I do have these switches on.

What do I need to look at now?

The only other part that control that would be the push button switch itself.

Possibly a bad Switch, selector, 6 button

Default Heater or switch selector

I tried to narrow down whether the problem is the heater or the switch assembly. The dishwasher will run normally when none of the temperature buttons are pushed. So, I ran it with just 1 pushed at a time. When the high temperature wash or rinse is pushed, it stops in the 2nd wash cycle during normal wash (they stop at different times). When only the high temperature dry button is pushed, it will run through all of the cycles.

Does this help determine which is the bad part, or do I need to electrically check them?

Unfortunately it doesn't help determine what part is bad.

You will need to check it with the wiring diagram:
