Default Frigidaire Dishwasher Gallery Collection

My dishwasher Model #FDB878GCT0 has a problem. After the water fills the unit and it proceeds to the next stage, the motor sounds like it's binding, I removed everything down to the plate seperator and found several pieces of glass in the impeller and removed them. The motor turns fine by hand, but when the power is applied, it just makes a loud noise and won't turn, it wants to go, but after a few seconds the overload protection circuit kicks it off and it will cycle and try again....Do I need to take it down further and check the screen-macerator or do i have a bad motor or relay???

Thanks for any help you can shed on this...
