Default My Frigidaire wont clean

I have a Pld2850rdc1 dishwasher, it has never cleaned from the day we got it. Unfortunatly I was not paying attention to my wife, and did not realize it.

The pump removes water, there seems to be enough water in the tub, the screen is clean ( the machine has had very little use on it due to its poor performance) the ball seems fine, It sounds like its doing the job... it just doesn't clean our dishes.

I have searched and tried many suggestions I have found on here over the last few months. I'm starting to wonder if this model was not designed to clean dishes or is there really something wrong?

Thank You for any help you can give before I give up and buy a new one.

They had motor/pump assembly problem with these, you would need a new one.

How old is your dishwasher?

Here is the part you would need:
Motor Kit

the dishwasher is less than 2 years old, I don't mind replacing the motor but is there a way to tell if that is the problem?

Thanks

Have you ever heard of a new one having this problem? I've waited too long for it to be covered under warranty, but I do not want to replace the part and still have the same dirty dishes.

I sure hope it is just this motor, because this unit matches every other appliance in my kitchen.

I changed all of my appliances to upgrade my kitchen to matching s/s, but so far my wife is not happy (subsequently neiher am I) with the dishwasher.

Being a handyman and cheep to boot, I do not want to spend more money on a dead (or poorly engineered) dishwasher.

If it's junk please let me know, but if it's fixable I'de love to save it!

Thank You

Yes, its a 99% chance it will work perfect, if not, you can return the part within 30 days for a full refund.

Oh, sorry to hear that you weren't able to get it to work.

But Bosch is a good dishwasher.

Thanks for the update.
