Hi,
Whats the model# of your new refrigerator? its located inside your refrigerator section on the left, right, or top ceiling walls.
Does your owners manual say anything about it?

They're bringing me a new one tomorrow.
The manual says to contact them and they will tell you what is wrong.
I looked all over the internet and found nothing.
Still interested in what the #4 is.

Thanks,
I checked that model#, but I'm unable to find that code online anywhere.
Hopefully another tech. or member can help shed some light on this code.

is error 4 a DOA code
I had a new Frigidaire delivered today model number
GLHS66EEW9
Side by side
It has a number setting for the freezer and and another for the Frig
The Freez is set to 6 the frig is flashing a number 4 no mater what setting I try.
The manual says to call repair/service if a number flashes, so I called them, they said they will not do anything for the first 24 hours since it takes that long to get cold and they don't know about a number 4 flashing.
Does anyone know what this error code is and why I am seeing on a brand new appliance.
Looks like I may need a new one too but the service dept will not come out for a new install for the first 24 hours.
I have all my frig and freez contents in coolers with dry ice. When they delivered my new frig I had them haul the old one away.
Thanks in advance
John

Thanks,
They came out and replaced the frig with a new one. The broken one with the flashing 4 never got cold. The frez started to cool down but after a day it was warm, The frig section never got cool.
I guess a flashing 4 is DOA..
I am glad they replaced it so fast, I was upset when they would not service it for 24 hours. When they came out one look and they called for a new one to be delivered the next day.
Thanks again
John
