Default Dryer won't start; Frigidaire model# AEQB6000ES2

My dryer (model # AEQB6000ES2) is only about 6 months old, and will not come on. Everything functions normally on the control panel, but when I push start the "drying" indicator light comes on but it does not start tumbling or doing anything else. It is not providing any error codes or beeping. Everything appears as if it is functioning normally but it is actually not running at all. Please advise.

Hi Eric,

Start by checking the thermal limiter and the door switch.

Hi erric,

Use an ohm meter, remove one of the wires and a reading of 00.0 is a closed circuit (good). A reading of .1 or 1 is open(bad).

Wait, hold on, don't do anything. You have a 1 yr. warranty on your dryer. Contact Frigidaire to have a tech. come out and fix it for free.
