Default Frigidaire Gas Oven won't heat

Help!! I have a fridiadaire gas oven and the top part of the stove works just fine but the other day, I turned on the oven part and it was kind of hard to try to turn on but then when I did get it turned on, it never heated up no matter what temperature I set the knob too. Its not an electronic version, its got the old white knob with the temperatures written on it. I live in a very small town and no one can tell me why it just quit. It had been working just fine a couple days before. There is a orange glow but it doesn't seem to be getting gas to lite the oven and heat it. I would appreciate any assistance. Poor husband is NOT mechanically inclined and I'm a baker...its driving me nuts not having my oven and not knowing where to start even looking. Can someone help me.

Do not see a model number so we can see what type of ignition you have, but if you see an orange glow from the burner area sounds like you have a glow coil/igniter that has gotten weak and does not get hot enough to open the gas valve....post the complete model number....

Parts Manual........
On page #4 see the igniter reference # 19, if this is glowing but the burner does not get any gas this normally means the igniter has gotten weak and is not getting hot enough to open the gas valve, the part number for the igniter will be on the next page down...this will be easy to replace, just remove the oven bottom and the spreader and there it is...looks like this range is about 6 years old...
