Default No Power Frigidaire Slide In

I have a slide in dual fuel PLCs389dcc range. I bought it used, although it looked like it was never installed. It sat for a couple of years while I bought a house and redid the kitchen.

I installed a new circuit and pug today, and the range has no juice at all. No lights nothing. I have power at the outlet and there is power at the terminal endings of the cord.

Ideas? Thanks...

Did you check the voltage at terminal block with a volt meter? If so what was the voltage on both of the RED & BLACK(HOT) end terminals and the WHITE(NEUTRAL) in the middle?

Test from WHITE to RED, then WHITE to BLACK.

When you say terminal block I am assuming that is the place where the power cord connects to the stove.

I have the volt meter that lights up at certain voltages. Both red and black light up at 120.

Yes, the terminal block where your power cord connects to your range.

Ok, but you need to put the volt meter probes on both the RED & BLACK and it should read 240 volts.

Ok, thats odd something should light up. No oven light either?

No burners work?

Here's the tech. data sheet:
ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo.../318127012.pdf

Here's the wiring diagram:
ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo.../318045096.pdf

Your probably going to have to back trace the wiring from the wiring diagram to see whats getting power and whats not to the different components, it almost sounds like you have a broken main L1 or L2 wire after the terminal block.

Its very rare that I've ever come across a range that something doesn't light. Its not going to be an easy fix to trace all your wiring down. Just be patient and don't rush it.

The burners will be LP but aren't hooked up yet.

No oven light when door opened.

So basically unplug unit, test wire/component, plug back in if it works test next down the line.

Yes, I agree, this problem your having is more "out of the norm" than most.

It would be a good idea to have an authorized Frigidaire tech. come out:

Had someone come look at it today. They think the main board is gone. Going to cost $429.00. The parts listed that I need are.

1. Clock/Time
2. Switch
3. Thermostat

When I search for the thermostat two items come up. And I can't find a switch.

Is this something I can do myself?
