Default [FIXED] Frigidaire Oven Won't Heat Properly

Hi, I am new here so forgive me if I don't follow protocol - I have a frigidaire convection [via speed bake button] self cleaning oven, it is probably 8 years old or so. When I try and bake at 350 it seems to take twice as long as the recipe states. It seems that 375-400+ is fine but 350 always produces undercooked results. Maybe I am just losing my mind?

Thanksgiving - the turkey was still raw in parts after 1 hour past the recommended cooking time.

Today - brownies cooked for nearly 60 minutes (2x recipe time).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Lisa

Hey Jake,

FEF369CGSE.

What's strange to me is that 400 works fine (i.e. biscuits every night bake perfectly at 400). It's only 350 that seems 'broken' or I'm just nuts...lol

Thanks!

Depends on how much fruitcake you've have this holiday season, which determines if your nuts or not.

This is kinda an odd situation, seems this week I've had many members post problems that are highly unusual.

Did you try to adjust the temperature from this section in your owners manual where it says CUSTOMIZING YOUR OVEN PERFORMANCE on page 21 here:
ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo...16135923en.pdf

Try that first, if that still doesn't work, then its likely you will need a new control board and oven sensor.

Here's the electronic clock oven control board for your model:
Manufacturer part number 316131605 is RepairClinic item number 823631
316131605

Here's the oven sensor for your model:
Manufacturer part number 316134900 is RepairClinic item number 823643
316134900

Sorry for the delayed response. I bought a $3 oven thermometer and discovered I was off by 25 degrees! So I followed the link to the manual you provided and re-calibrated at +25. The result was a perfectly browned turkey on Christmas. Thank you so much - your directions were easy enough for a girl to follow.
