I have a Frigidaire Gallery professional series gas stove. It was in the
house when we moved in so I don't know the age, but its in great condition and worked fine for the last yr. Now the button to the broiler
is not working and neither is the bottom to cancel the oven. I was using
a screw driver to cancel the oven for the pass few months. Now I went to
use the broiler and the f1 blinks on and off with this beeping sound.
The model # is FGF379WECR serial # VF91136SZZ.
I called a Frigidaire service place, they said on the phone its probably a
control board and they are expensive, I may want to replace the stove.
I would like to know how old the stove is and how "expensive is the board"
They never called me back with a price. I have unpluged the stove and
would like to make an informed decesion. This is actually the 2nd placed I
called with no call back from them its been 3 days.

It was made in March of 1999.
