Default Leaking Disposer

I have a Badger 1 that is leaking through the bottom in two places. It is leaking through what looks like the reset button and from another piece that is shaped like a "U" that is not flush with the rest of the bottom piece.
Hope this makes sense.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, seen this happen many times, the only fix is buying a new disposal.

Default I was afraid of that...

so I went ahead and purchased a new unit. I was able to buy the same model which allowed me to utilize the existing bracket underneath the sink. It went in like a breeze with no leaks.

I'm glad you confirmed my decision. I wanted to try and repair but was afraid the part would not be available.

Thanks for your help.

Yea, and it gets very difficult to try to repair it, so many little parts that can come out of place and hard to re-assemble back.

Helps keep your sanity when you just replace the whole unit.
