GE Self Cleaning Gas Range Model JGBP24BEW1AD
I hope someone can help me. I was trying to cook a sweet potato (yam) and it never did get done. The oven on light stays on and does click on and off. The oven seems warm -- the preheat light comes on. I have no error codes. There is a glow from the bottom of the oven. I do not have a oven thermometer. Please hlep so that I can cook my sweet potato (yam).

If you see the orange glow from the bottom of your oven and the gas/flame isn't coming on, then its likely your oven igniter is bad. I change alot of these every year, they just wear out over time.
