Default GE Profile Bottom Freezer Water Line Leaks

I Have a GE Profile refrig with bottom freezer model PDS22SFSARSS. The plastic water line that goes to the water filter is leaking at the joint that joins to the copper water line that goes to the faucit. Is it easy to replease that joint on the existing plastic tube? There is a hole on the plastic tub at the joint that formed from wear and tear.

Thanks,
John
