Default GE Profile glass cooktop

I have a 1995 electric GE Profile glass cooktop (Unsure of Model #) that has one burner which remains on high heat regardless of the setting we place it on. I'm assuming it is a bad heating element. My problem is I have not been able to find anything on the repair sites, including repairclinic.com on glass cooktops. Any idea how I can get the model # without pulling the entire top off and then where I can find the parts? Any comment is greatly appreciated.

Replace the surface unit switch and it should be ok.

I forgot to add, if you can't find the model number (open the bottom drawer and look there ) the part number should be on the switch.

Is the surface unit switch the same as the infinite switch? Also, I found my model number but none of the websites seem to recognize it. It's JP350W0V1WW, any idea on the part number I'm looking for?

Sorry for the elementary questions, I have fixed washers and dryers in the past but this is my first go at kitchen appliances.

Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, it's the same, infinite switch-surface unit switch. I'm not sure what switch you were having trouble with so here are the part #'s for all:
3000Watt element-PART# WB23K5052
1900Watt element-PART# WB23M09
1200Watt element-PART# WB23M08
