I have a GE S3600D0WW and my timer makes a buzzing noise even when in the off position. The only way to stop the buzzing is to disconnect electricity. The washer will agitate and drain, but will not spin or fill with water. It also continues running past the current cycle (i.e. from Cottons to Easy Care to Delicate, etc). I thought it was the timer and so I replaced it. Still have the same problem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Thats odd, I haven't run across one of these GE models thats doing what yours is.
Hopefully another tech. or member that has can help shed some light on this issue. Jake

The problem is fixed. It was the pressure switch. I disconnected the hose from the pressure switch and blew into it. I was able to pass air through the tube. I then blew in the pressure switch and heard it clicking. I hooked everything back up and it is working great now. Apparently there was either something stuck in the tube or the pressure switch was stuck.

Ok, glad you found out what was causing the buzzing sound.
If it keeps doing it, you'll likely need a new water level pressure switch. Here's the one for your model: Manufacturer's Number: WH12X10065 Jake
