Bill_O is on a distinguished road
Smile GE GSD2230Z04WW heated dry switch

My dishwasher recently died in the middle of a cycle and would not drain. After manually emptying the machine I tried another cycle and it would not add water. Checking I found that the heated dry switch was defective. The switch is a rocker on-none-on type and neither contact was making a circuit. I found a replacement (hope this is allowed on the blog) at Allied Electronics 800-433-5700. The manufacture part # is RSC143D1100 and the Allied part # is 683-0115. Swapped out the switch and it works like new.

I noted in an early thread that a Bill from VA had a similiar problem with the heated dry switch and GE tried to tell him that a switch with only two contacts would work. Bill I hope you solved your problem but if not the above switch is a good fix.
