Default Potscrubber starts with a bang

My DW wouldn't start, so I thumped the timer dial and she started and of course that is not a permanent solution.
Where can I get a blow-up diagram, so I can attack the problem and replace the timer?

I'll need your entire model number to get the break down you request. Remove the screw holding the knob on the latch lever then remove the knob. Open the door and remove the screws on both sides and the top. Two of those screws will be different than the others, remember where they went. Close the door and move the latch lever half way closed then the inner door will seperate from the outer door. The timer is right there and easy to access.

Default DW needed thump......and more

I removed the door panel and into the timer mechanism, I sprayed Deoxit D5 spray.
The stuff removes corrosion and promotes conductivity (unlike WD-40).
MY DW seems as good as new and it looks like a simple thing to replace the timer, if I need to in the future.

I'm glad you got it working. If the points inside the timer are arching and getting a carbon build up, that might have cleaned them enough to work for a while. Unfortunatly, the other problem with the points is the heat starts to warp the arm untill they fail to make contact any longer. Hopefully it will last for a while. Still need model number if you want timer part number.

I am guessing that it was a replacement part.
We have lived in this house for 3 years and the house was built in '99
